How can I get around the city? What type of transport should I use?

I'm considering enrolling in a Master at USI next September. What are the advantages of studying here or, more generally, in Lugano? Have you experienced some problems during your application process?

How is affordable the city? What are the opportunities it offers for "newcomers", so people who go there for the first time?

How can I be aware and not miss any social activities from the University and from other local istitutions? Where can I find this type of information?

I'm a newcomer in town and student at USI :) Could you please help me find some fun activities to do in Lugano in the evening or during my free time? Do you also know where and how I can come in contact with the other students of USI just to go out for a drink after class?

Guys, do you know if there are some restaurants, bars or other shops nearby where I could get a discount as USI's student? Do you know also where I can find this type of information? 

I should start an internship in Lugano in the next coming months and I would find new platforms (besides Linkedin) where looking for job offers. Can someone who has done this before help me? Have you experienced some problems while looking for a job? Please, tell me more about your experience!
